"Captain" ~ 2018 chestnut Belgian cross gelding.
Sold at auction Online at Premier Auction Sales..

BIG super red chestnut Belgian X gelding. Measures 16.1 + hh bare foot on concrete with a stick & level. Big boned & stout enough for any size rider, & comes over to a stump/fence to mount, so he is easy to get on. Fun to ride, great on trails, he crosses water & logs & bridges. Walks out well, smooth trot and super nice lope that he will keep up for miles if you ask him to.

Trafic safe, not bothered by the trucks on the highway.  Horses  running by him in the pasture don’t bother him either.
He has been ridden many miles outside, through the pasture and into town & back and ponied a colt in the local parade. Gathered cows out of the pasture and worked in the sorting pen. He will stick with you and won't give out when you are working, yet doesn't start out hot.

Side passes to open gates, neck reins & backs. Easily takes both leads and lopes a nice circle.

Rides western or english and gone over low jumps. Also has been driven in a team.

I just took him to a fox hunt intro and he did great, everyone there was super impressed with how well he did over the jumps on his first time out. Check out this Instagram video from the run. (Captain is the first chestnut). It was my first time also and so fun!

I am tall (size 11 boot) and people have commented that I make captain look like a normal sized horse. And Captain is built so balanced in proportion that he often times doesn’t look as big as he is until you’re up next to him.

Catch him in the pasture & ride him back in a halter. Great with other horses. Sound; straight legs and big feet. Not cold backed or cinchy.
